Sous Chef/Line Cook

Spoonfed Kitchen & Bake Shop – Wilmington, NC

Job Description:

•Cook flavorful food from clean, fresh ingredients for breakfast, lunch, dinner, carry-out and catering.

•Execute beautiful food presentation.

•Participate in menu planning for all areas.

•Problem solve and participate in systems development for operational efficiency.

•Keep a meticulously clean kitchen.

•Participate in growing a dynamic new business.

Who we are:

•Spoonfed Kitchen is a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

•We offer carry-out and have a specialty food market.

•We offer custom catering and event planning for events ranging from small dinner parties to weddings to corporate events.

•We work with local farmers and artisan food producers to access the freshest and finest ingredients whenever possible.

•We love food & entertaining. We are passionate and hard-working.

•We have Danny Meyers’ 5 Core Emotional Skills hanging on our kitchen wall. We hire by them, train them and strive to live by them.
